The picture shown in the listing is an example of what you will receive. The board number will match as well as plugs. ? Some parts may come with scratches and or markings, labels etc that are not shown or described. We test all parts as they come from tv with cracked screens. We are working really hard to keep prices low for individual as well as businesses. We are confident in our parts as we test each one, however nobody is perfect mistakes do happen and if you do receive a defective part please reach out to us so we can make it right. We never want our customers to have a bad experience and we do resolve issues as they arise. ? Message us first so we can resolve your issue before opening a return. ????? Please check all plugs and numbers including model. For most brands/models the sticker number on each board are the ones to match. Model numbers can be compatible with different models as well as size or brand. (model numbers are not always reliable and to ensure correct part match the part number on the sticker). If you are unsure if the board is compatible please send us a message, with your pictures and information and we will be happy to assist you. > please understand that our parts are not to be used to diagnose any tv/electronic. Use a flashlight and check for dim picture. If you have a dim picture, replacing boards will not fix the issue. Also sound and no picture is likely a backlight issue. Replacing main, tcon, or power supply will NOT fix a backlight issue. Below is listed some common issues and solutions. Please feel free to message us with any questions or advice on repairs. No sound- possible main board or speaker. TV stuck on logo – possible main board. No HDMI- possible main board. Broken coax- replace main. Remote won’t work- possible main or sensor. Tv won’t connect to internet- possible main board or WiFi module. No power – possible power supply (always check for standby light). Vertical lines- possible tcon and or panel (if panel, replacement of board will not fix). :: black screen are common- possible main OR inverter board. :::To check most Samsung main boards disconnect the main from the power supply. If the tv lights up that is a good indication of a faulty main board. ::: Please beware that Samsung crystal have a common display issue (dark screen) and a display issue can NOT be fixed by replacement of boards. ::: Picture flashing is a sign of a backlight and replacing the boards will NOT fix it. Sony are great tv but extra steps are required to repair. When replacing the main board most will require a firmware update. You can get most of the updates directly from Sonys website. You will download to a USB 16-32 GB max. It will not work on a 1 TB. There are step by step instructions on Sony website. Please feel free to ask questions for tips or advice on tv issues and repair. Please be sure that the BOARD Part Number AND SERIAL NUMBER are EXACT to the one you are ordering, some models have different boards. Do not match by TV Model. There are possibly several different boards for each model TV. All items are tested and guaranteed to work. All of our parts are reclaimed FROM WORKING USED OR NEW BROKEN SCREEN TV’S. We reclaimed them from working damaged TV’s. THIS IS NORMALLY HOW YOUR TV WORKS (simplified). When you plug in your TV a red light comes on (called a standby light). When you turn on the TV a signal is sent from the power supply to the main board, it checks the circuits if, OK, it sends a signal back to the power supply to raise the voltage on the large capacitors from 180 to 360 volts and turns on the rest of the TV. ALL BACKLIGHTS ARE TESTED IN THE TV AND WHEN REMOVED FROM THE TV. PLEASE NOTE: There may be more than one different set of LED strips for this model. Please confirm that XXXXXXXXXXXX can be found printed on your original LED strips before ordering. IMPORTANT: Horizontal lines on the screen are virtually NEVER caused by a bad T-con board. Horizontal lines indicate a defective LCD panel (screen). ORDER BY THE RSAG7/820. XXXXX NUMBER, ORDER BY THE SIX DIDGET NUMBER ON THE WHITE STICKER ON THE BOARD. Symptom: TV has sound, but no picture or looks like it is coming onfrom the light(s) on the front panel, but the screen is dark or there is no picture. Tip: Try shining a light on the front of the TV after you turn it on. Do you see a faint picture? If not, it may just need a circuit board replacement. If you do see a picture, then the back lights is most likely that powers the back lights is at fault. Symptom:TV is dead. There are no lights that come on anywhere when you plug the TV in to a power outlet and press the power button. Tip: This can be caused by a blown fuse from a surge or lightning, but most often it is caused by a defective main board. Symptom The TV light flickers on and off this is normally a back light problem, sometimes the power light will change from red to blue you can normally verify this by testing the voltage on the large capacitors on the power supply it should be about 360 volts (CAREFULL). Symptom: the red light does not change colour, this may be a power supply or back light problem if there is a short on the back lights the main board will shut the TV down (a safety feature to prevent fires) try disconnecting the back lights and testing the 360 voltage. Symptom:The HDMI ports are not functioning or not functioning properly. Tip:Most often, the problem is with the main board. Most main boards contain all of the HDMI ports, so replacing it will fix the problem 98 percent of the time. HDMI ports are often damaged by lightning. The top tech reports that about half the jobs he assesses that have lightning damage involve main board replacement because HDMI ports are non-functional even though the rest of the TV operates normally. Symptom:The TV appears to be in an endless cycle of coming on and going off by itself showing the logo only. Sometimes the cycle ends with the TV staying on or going off. This is normally a main board problem. Note: when changing the back lights: the screens on the TV is very fragile and would suggest you watch a video on u tube before attempting. When changing the back lights on 55 inch and up screens: they are extremely difficult to change and require two people and four suction cups: One model of TV uses different back lights so check the part number on the back light strip before ordering. IMPORTANT ALL MAIN BOARDS MUST BE UPGRADED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY FAILURE TO DO SO WILL APPEAR AS A DEFECTIVE BOARD. Changing a part on a TV is not like changing a light bulb most TV’s are software driven and require an upgrade from the mfg (to match the new part to your TV) without this upgrade your back lights, WiFi, sound etc may not work properly or fail prematurely. If you have vertical or horizontal lines on the screen it is a screen problem, changing the t-con will not help. These are suggested tips only and are not always the solution TO ALL PROBLEMS. PLEASE NOTE: BECAUSE THE PART YOU ORDERED DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM DOES NOT MEAN IT WAS DEFECTIVE EVEN THE MOST EXPERIENCED TEC DOES NOT ALWAYS MAKE THE PROPER DIAGNOSIS WE ARE NOT EXPECTING THIS OF YOU.
