There’s also the PCB numbers printed on the board that is used as a base for the whole assembly. We’ve seen PCBs 715G4404-M01-000-005K and 715G4404-M01-000-005F being used and it is important to note that the same PCBs can also be used for other models by having different sets of components installed on the board. For example the same PCBs are used for boards for the larger M3D550SR TV model, but because of other differences in the TVs the assemblies for the 46” and 55” version of the TV are NOT compatible! They would have the same large “0171″ number since they use the same PCB, but a different 36XX-ABCD-WXYZ number. Differences may be small or big, but as a rule of thumb you want to replace a board in your TV with the same or knowingly compatible one or you risk malfunctioning and even damage (we ourselves learned that the usual expensive way). Before placing an order you must open your TV and verify that this is the board you need.
